Welcome to Wigan

Wigan is the proud home of premiership football and superleague rugby. Yet, despite our sporting excellence, Wiganers like nothing better than a sumptuous meal of pie and peas washed down with a pint of real ale. There is no shortage of good pubs serving good beer in our town centre and surrounding areas.

Naturally, we'd like to keep it that way. That's why plenty Wiganers are happy to support the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). Our local CAMRA Branch consists of over 300 members and we meet and socialise on a regular basis. Why not join us - the more the merrier !!

Hopefully, our website will provide you with a good insight into Wigan CAMRA Branch and what to expect on a drinking visit to Wigan and its surrounding areas.
